"I Have Played The Fool"

King Saul "played the fool" (1 Samuel 26:21) in regard to the Lord and others such as Jonathan and David. He offered unauthorize sacrifice (1 Samuel 13), threatened to kill his son Jonathan (1 Samuel 14) and had incomplete obedience in exterminating the Amalekites (1 Samuel 15). David spared his life twice causing Saul to admit he had been acting like a fool in pursuing his loyal friend.
